Frame racks created for an Art Exhibition “I am too sad to tell you why” by the renowned photographer Katarina Marković. ‘Inspired by the work from the 1970-71, “I am too sad to tell you” by a conceptual artist Bas Jan Ader, the photographer is dealing with the topic of sadness caused by unknown reasons.’

In crafting these whimsical frame racks we were given the creative freedom to design and construct in a manner that embodied the exhibition’s theme. Given the poignant subject of crying, we incorporated tears as feet on the frames, adding a visual layer that resonated with the emotional depth of the showcased artworks.

These frame racks, beyond being display structures, embraced versatility. Frames stood on their own feet, while one gracefully hung from the ceiling, spinning around as people passed by. As the exhibition concluded, we uncovered their second function –  Clothing racks. These pieces seamlessly transition from the world of art to everyday life, making them perfect additions to frequently used wardrobe.
