Seven Starling took flight with a mission to assist women and caregivers in navigating the most profound transitions in their lives – embracing parenthood.
Alongside amazing team at This Works Agency, we embarked on a comprehensive journey, spearheading Branding and Art Direction from inception to completion.
Given the delicate nature of Seven Starling, centering around the fragile period of motherhood, birth, and the myriad of emotions encompassing anxiety and fears, our visual approach was gentle yet impactful. We aimed to portray women in all their shapes and stages, baring them naked and free, as a liberating expression of often – muted emotions.
Bold and brave, our color palette mirrored the courage inherent in this transformative journey, while strong Sans Serif fonts conveyed strength and stability.
The photography, meticulously crafted, sought to capture comedic scenes in pregnancy and playful moments, adding a touch of joy to the project. We also maintained a robust grid to convey a sense of organisation, confidence, and style throughout.
This collaborative endeavor received accolades, earning The Drum Awards for Art Direction — an affirmation of our commitment to visually narrating stories with sensitivity and strength.
