Children dreaming awake

Children dreaming awake is a short fiction film produced in 2020. with the support of Film Center Serbia. It was premiered at Brest international film festival in France and it won the best screenplay award at Fecea Film Festival in Brazil. 

Synopsis: Damza spends his last days of summer on a wild beach playing with his friends Danilo and Dora. In the mornings they spy on girls, eat ice-cream and swim in the sea and at night, Damza performs his circus acts while Danilo and Dora dance around him. Playing games and avoiding the grown-ups, they pretend that summers on the beach are their everyday life. One day, Damza is approached by a famous circus performer who offers him to join his troupe. Damza feels like his dreams are coming true but a phone call with his mother will return him back to reality. Or it won’t.
